1. Call to Order at 6:30pm

2. Invocation by Mat MacDonald

3. Pledge of Allegiance led by Scott Herndon

4. Roll Call: Present: 32 Absent: 3 Proxies: (2) Cornel Rasor, Dimitry Borisov Percent: 89% (33%req) Excused absences Mark Montani, Mark Sauter, Jeff Connoly

5. Announcements:
 Kathy Nash will pass a hat for donations/venue fee offerings.
 Sign up for email updates online at BonnerGOP.org.
 The BCRCC is a private organization and does not permit recordings to be made of the meeting.
 March BCRCC Committee meeting cannot be held here. An email will be sent out to notify you of March location.

6. Approval of Agenda:
 Grace Bauer moved to have the meeting adjourned at 8:30 hard stop. Anne Chamberlain seconded. Motion Passed.
 Agenda approved as amended by unanimous consent.

7. Approval of meeting minutes of 1/21/25:
 Regular meeting minutes of 1/21/25 approved by unanimous consent.

8. PC Reports/Announcements:
 Steve Truss Legislative District 2 town hall meeting this Saturday, 2/22/2025 at CDA High School from 12:30-2:30pm
 Tom Bokowy reported on discussion with constituents regarding comments on platform about BCRCC rules.

9. Report of The Chair:
 Clarified open meeting laws with Louis Marshall, County Prosecuting Attorney, and confirmed the BCRCC position that we are private organization and the open meeting laws are not applicable.
 Ben Olsen, Sandpoint Reader, did not publish an article about our last meeting.
 Discussed HJR1 – “The right of the people to educate their children without government regulation outside of the public schools of the state shall not be infringed.” Amendment to the Idaho Constitution for needs 2/3 vote (47) to pass is up for vote tomorrow.

10. Follow-up on January rule passed regarding use of BCRCC name and logo. Tom Bokowy declined to update his group page according to the rule voted on by the committee. Referred to Investigatory Committee.

11. Elected Representative Reports:
 Clorrisa Koster, Treasurer, discussed property taxes and Avista case to recoup overpaid taxes.
 Mike Rosedale, Clerk, discussed taxing districts, dates for May election. Candidate filing deadline March 21, 2025
 Dennis Engelhardt, Assessor, reported the program upgrade for property appraisal efficiency and it is time to apply for property tax reduction exemption.
 Richard Townsend, Sagle Fire Board, Fire Chiefs are having levee workshops, budget hearings for Selkirk Fire will be posted, engine that slid on ice was totaled and is covered by money received and still awaiting delivery of new engine ordered. This engine will mostly be covered by grant money, delivery is still unknown. Richard Townsend requested that the Fire Board be given time to present information before the election committee regarding levees.
 Ron Korn, Commissioner, reported only one commissioner will be reporting at each meeting on a rotating basis. Planning completed 2 month comprehensive plan traveling presentations and will be working on report and will present to Board of Commissioners when complete as next step in process. Ron requested that people not post or repost items on social media unless they have verified the veracity of posting/comment.

12. Committee reports:
a. Bylaws committee: Dan Vaniman stated no report.
b. Elections committee: Kristin Dodd’s committee report is attached.
c. Executive committee: No report
d. Fundraising committee: Julie Lynn reported that the MAGA Celebration is set for Saturday, March 8th. The event is sold out. Venue has changed to Sandpoint Business & Event Center. Pack River Store is catering.

Volunteers are needed:
 Set Up 7am: Brendan Mooney, Butch Horton, Richard Townsend
 Set Up 2pm: Scott Herndon, Anne Chamberlain, Hannah Herndon
 Richard Townsend will p/u tables etc. from All About Weddings Friday 3/7 before 1pm and deliver to event center on Saturday 3/8 morning at 7am.
 Ice chests & Ice bring to event by 2:30: Dan Vaniman, Jane Purdy, Mat MacDonald, Kim Peckham(Mat will p/u)
 Make tabletop bar: Dan Vaniman will construct and Tanner Linton will finish.
 Music Playlist: Kristen Styket
 Dessert Dash bring to event by 4:30: Kristen Dodd, Steve Truss, Kelly Korn, Debbie Smith
 Swag bags: Brendan Mooney, Kristen has crew that can fill bags.
 Turn in donations for raffle/auction.
e. Rules and resolutions committee: No report.
f. Search committee: Doug Paterson stated no report.

12. Republican Party Officers:
a. LD1 Chair – Cornel Rasor no report.
b. Treasurer’s Report – Kathy Nash reported treasurer’s report sent to committee. SOS Report for Jan 2025 shows a cash Balance of 27,731.92.Bank Statement for Jan 31, 2025 Shows Balance of 22,406.62. Difference of 5,325.30 is Anedot transactions filed but not deposited into the bank.
Current balance $30,904.57
c. State Committeeman – Dan Vaniman stated no report.
d. State Committeewoman – Julie Lynn requested LD2 Chair be added to “Republican Party Officers” for all future meetings.
e. State Youth Committeewoman – Hannah Herndon stated no report.
