Priest River, Idaho — The Bonner County Republican Central Committee’s Lincoln Day dinner is set for Saturday March 18, 2023 at the Priest River Event Center on Highway 2 in Priest River. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
This year’s theme is Black and White, suit and tie. There will be a no-host bar, and the menu features prime rib by Bruno from the Klondike Restaurant.
This year’s event features table sponsorships in commemoration of the Idaho Constitution. Table sponsors will enjoy a special VIP reception from 4:30 – 5:30 PM with hosted drinks, appetizers and time with our special guest speakers.
Our featured speaker will be conservative Idaho Solicitor General Theo Wold.
Wold is a Boise resident who is the first to fill the role of Idaho solicitor general in many years. He was acting assistant attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice and a deputy assistant to former President Donald Trump, where he worked directly with the president and other administration officials to implement federal policies. He also served as deputy chief counsel to U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Wold earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame, and he clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for Judge Janice Rogers Brown and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico for Judge José Antonio Fusté.
This year will also feature a special guest speaker well known in Idaho, but we will reveal who it is as the event. The annual Lincoln Day Dinner is a fundraiser for the Bonner County Republican Party and this year will feature live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle and live music by the Herndon Girls.
